The Aerial Silks Program offered through Ascend Aerial Arts located at IMPACT! Kickboxing Fitness are recreational aerial classes for beginner through advanced levels. Students learn essential skills, silks safety, the art of performing, silks technique and theory.

Our classes are geared for students ages 12 and up. Space for aerial classes are limited. Once class begins there are no refunds and no make up classes. All aerial students with previous experience with a professional instructor can schedule a free assessment to determine which class level is appropriate.  Video submissions are not accepted. 

What Types of Classes Are Offered?

We have a variety of aerial classes offered at Ascend including a one day intro class, session enrollments (at different levels) & drop-ins.

One Day IntroThis 90 minute class is for those curious about aerial silks or interested in developing strong core and upper body with conditioning exercises on and off the silks. No experience necessary. Try it once and you’ll be hooked!

Drop-insSelect classes are available for drop-ins for current students. 

Class Session Enrollment: To secure a spot in a class, full payment is required for the entire month in advance. Students will be assigned the same class time each week. Current students have priority registration for the following month.

Introduction

Intro to Aerial Silks

Intro class is for hose curious about aerial silks or
interested in developing strong core and upper body with conditioning exercises on
and off the silks. No experience necessary. 

Beginner

Beginner Aerial Silks

Beginner Aerial Silks will focus on aerial foundations. The class will include a warm-up, conditioning, climbs, descents, inversion training, poses on the fabric, and a cool-down.

Advanced Beginner

Advanced Beginner Silks

Advanced Beginner Aerial Silks continues to work on the fundamentals of aerial silks. This class will include warm-up, conditioning, climbs, inversion training from a climb, catchers, and intricate poses.

Pre-Intermediate

Pre-Intermediate Aerial Silks

Pre-Intermediate goes from knowing a lot of moves to being able to do them beautifully and learn to develop personal style.
Each week we will concentrate on a specific poses, basic troubleshooting, form and technique, variations and transitions.

Intermediate

Intermediate Aerial Silks

Intermediate have mastered basic skills, shows progress in endurance and strength, and can easily chain together poses and transitions fluidly. Students will work on more advanced drops, climbs
Focus will be given to conditioning, endurance and musicality.
