If you’ve ever thought, “I want to take aerial classes, but I am not strong enough…” then THIS class is FOR YOU!!
Book now for Aerial Fitness 4:30pm Thursdays with Claire. This **NEW** 60-minute class introduces students to exercises on aerial hammocks and silks. We cover basic alignment, foundational body positioning, and specific muscle activation so that the body can learn how to balance on aerial apparatuses. This aerial fitness training program will help you develop upper body and core strength and increase your mobility. Exercises will be modified for each student depending on each student’s current level of strength and flexibility.
What you will learn:
- exercises to develop core muscles
- exercises to increase mobility
- learn proper form when executing push-ups and sit-ups
- learn how to do proper pull-up
What you will NOT learn:
- Aerial Yoga
- Pilates
- Aerial skills such as climbs and footlocks (that would be covered in the intro to aerial silks class)
Appropriate for all students that are 12 and over, this class is included in ALL kickboxing memberships or you can drop-in for $20 per class.
